MIMO Issuance

Issuance Overview

Below is a general overview of the supply over time by incorporating the weekly reduction of the inflation as well as the supply generated by the TenX and PAY token holder claim that started the 9 April 2021 and ended the 1st April 2022.

Issuance

According to the last proposal "Mimo Distribution v2", the allocation is done as follows :

BeforeAfter

Weekly Issuance

5,654,203.999197681117886672

1,413,550.999799420279471668

Weekly Reduction

5.55%

1.3875%

MIMO distribution is managed by the MIMODistributor contract, which mints MIMO tokens according to a supply curve that reduces the amount of new MIMO tokens every week.

This guarantees that there will never be more than 1,000,000,000 MIMO tokens.

As per of the week of November 27th 2023, issuance is around 283,457 MIMO per week.

Issuance Distribution Repartition

Following MGP-14 & MGP-16, the Parallel DAO decided to update the repartition of the MIMO issuance distribution.

Below is the newly approved MIMO issuance distribution repartition:

Ethereum: 80% (of total)

  • vMIMO holders: 5%

  • Liquidity (Balancer Pools):

    • e-cs-kp-usd (wUSK, paUSD, USDC): 35%

    • e-cs-kp-eur (wFRK, PAR, EUROC): 40%

    • MIMO/wETH 80/20: 20%

Polygon: 20% (of total)

  • vMIMO holders: 5%

  • Liquidity (Balancer Pools):

    • e-cs-kp-usd (wUSK, paUSD, USDC): 35%

    • e-cs-kp-eur (wFRK, PAR, EUROC): 40%

    • MIMO/wETH 80/20: 20%

Issuance distribution to vMIMO holders is made via votingMiner contracts. Issuance distribution to liquidity pools is made through vote incentives in collaboration with Paladin with their Warden Quests product.
